چکیده
This work investigates the effect of dilution on phase separation process binary charged polysaccharide–surfactant mixtures formed by two cationic polysaccharides and up to four surfactants different nature (anionic, zwitterionic, neutral), as well potential impact dilution-induced formation conditioning deposits surfaces, mimicking negative charge wettability damaged hair fibers. The results obtained showed that behavior model washing formulations (concentrated mixtures) cannot be described in terms a classical complex precipitation framework, phenomena occur even when aggregates are far from equilibrium composition. Therefore, dilution-enhanced deposition predicted worsening colloidal stability due neutralization phenomena, common and, hence, enhanced occurs for highly complexes.

Surface tension, density and conductivity measurements were carried out for systems containing mixtures of cetyltrimethylammonium bromide CTAB) and p-(1,1,3,3-tetramethylbutyl)phenoxypoly(ethylene glycol), Triton X-100 (TX100). The obtained results of the surface tension meaurements were compared with those calculated from the relations derived by Joos, Miller and co-workers. From the compariso...
متن کاملWormlike Micelles Formed by Synergistic Self-Assembly in Mixtures of Anionic and Cationic Surfactants
Self-assembly in mixtures of cationic and anionic surfactants occurs synergistically because of attractive interactions between the oppositely charged headgroups. Here, such effects are exploited to obtain highly viscoelastic fluids at low total surfactant concentration. The systems considered are mixtures of the C18tailed anionic surfactant, sodium oleate (NaOA), and cationic surfactants from ...
متن کاملInteractions of β-lactoglobulin with Cationic Surfactants: Spectroscopy Study
The interactions of β-lactoglobulin AB in the presence of cationic surfactants such as Cetyltrimethylammonium bromide and Cetyltrimethylammonium p-Toluenesulfonate have been investigated using a variety of experimental techniques such as conductivity, UV-Vis spectrophotometry and fluorimetry. The conductivity of surfactants aqueous solutions with β-lactoglobulin shows that the cmc of cationic s...
